OLEOvital® EYE Ointment, 5 G

OLEOvital® EYE OINTMENT provides long-lasting relief from dryness, irritation and mild eye discomfort, caused, amongst other things, by environmental stress, tiredness and strain, or mechanical stress.

OLEOvital® Eye Ointment is used to provide long-lasting improvement to the tear film and intensive protection of the ocular surface. Its cell-protective properties facilitate normal re-epithelialisation when this is impaired by dryness.

Thanks to its very soft and smooth consistency, OLEOvital® eye ointment spreads very easily across the surface of the eye. The ointment is characterised by particularly good tolerability, primarily due to the vitamin A it contains, a natural component of the tear film.

OLEOvital® eye ointment relieves symptoms such as a burning sensation, dryness or tiredness of the eyes. The eyelids glide smoothly over the cornea and conjunctiva.

Dexpanthenol, which is converted into pantothenic acid in the body, is one of the B vitamins. Dexpanthenol increases the skin’s water-binding capacity, is readily absorbed by the skin and has nourishing properties.

OLEOvital® Eye Ointment provides long-lasting relief from symptoms of dryness, irritation and mild discomfort, particularly

• in cases of environmental stress, e.g. caused by air conditioning, wind or air pollution, such as cigarette smoke, or
• in cases of tiredness and visual strain caused by intense focusing, e.g. on computer screens, microscopes or during long car journeys, or
• in cases of mechanical strain, e.g. caused by wearing hard or soft contact lenses or by diagnostic procedures on the eye.

Directions for use

OLEOvital® eye ointment is usually applied three times a day. It is particularly recommended to apply it in the evening before going to bed, so that the ointment can have an intensive, long-lasting effect on the irritated eye.

Unscrew the protective cap, tilt your head back slightly and gently pull the lower eyelid away from the eye. Apply a strip of ointment approximately 0.5 cm long into the conjunctival sac by applying gentle pressure to the tube. Slowly close your eyes.

Vitamin A (250 IU/g), Dexpanthenol (20 mg/g = 2 %), Vitamin E (1 mg/g = 0.1 %), heavy paraffin, lanolin, cetylstearyl alcohol, purified water, WITHOUT preservatives.
