Dismenol® FORTE Ibuprofen 400 mg film-coated tablets provide pain relief for period pain, as well as anti-inflammatory and fever-reducing effects for headaches, back pain, toothache, muscle pain and joint pain.
Dismenol® helps before the pain sets in. How does it work? Ibuprofen works by inhibiting the body’s own production of prostaglandins. As already described, prostaglandins trigger inflammation in the tissues and the spasmodic contraction of the uterus. Furthermore, prostaglandins also irritate nerve endings; these signals are ultimately transmitted to the brain, where they are perceived and processed as pain.
Dismenol is used for mild to moderate pain, such as:
- headaches, back pain, toothache, muscle pain and joint pain,
- pain associated with colds and flu-like infections,
- period pain.
Note: Painkillers should not be taken for prolonged periods or in higher doses without medical advice.
