Otrivin® Menthol 0.1 % - Nasal Spray is an over-the-counter medicine and is used for various types of rhinitis in adolescents aged 12 and over and adults. Works quickly and for up to 12 hours, with menthol particularly suitable for daytime use.
Otrivin contains the active ingredient xylometazoline hydrochloride. It quickly relieves nasal congestion and facilitates the drainage of secretions, allowing you to breathe freely through your nose. Otrivin is used to treat nasal congestion caused by colds, hay fever, allergic rhinitis or sinusitis.
The effect of Otrivin starts within 2 minutes and lasts for up to 12 hours. The flavourings menthol and eucalyptol (= cineole) have a cooling effect and also make it easier to breathe through the nose, especially at night.
If you do not feel better or even worse after 1 week, consult your doctor.
Benefits
