Lactobacillus gasseri colonises the human small intestine.
- This creates an acidic environment, therebyinhibiting the growth of pathogenic microorganisms.
Bifidobacterium longum is found in the small and large intestines.
- It primarily breaks down carbohydrates into acetic acid and lactic acid andcounteracts gas-producing bacteria.
Omniflora is used
- as an adjunctive treatment for disorders of the small or large intestineassociated with diarrhoea, flatulence or constipation.
- to support the restoration of the gut flora (e.g. following a course of antibiotics).

Directions for use
Adults: 1 capsule 3 times a day.
Children aged 6 years and over and adolescents aged 12 to 18 years:
- Please consult a doctor before use.
- 1 capsule 1–2 times a day.
This product is not recommended for children under 6 years of age.
The capsules should be taken whole with a little liquid at mealtimes.
Duration of treatment
Generally, a course of treatment lasting 7 to 10 days is sufficient. Alonger course of treatment may be necessary in individual cases.
Ingredients
The active ingredients are: 25 mg Lactobacillus gasseri culture lyophilisate containing 8 × 10⁸ to 8 × 10⁹ CFU/g (corresponding to 2 × 10⁷ to 2 × 10⁸ CFU/capsule) with residual culture medium, 25 mg Bifidobacterium longum culture lyophilisate containing 8 × 10⁸ to 8 × 10⁹ CFU/g (corresponding to 2 × 10⁷ to 2 × 10⁸ CFU per capsule) with residual culture medium.
The other ingredients are silicon dioxide, anhydrous lactose, gelatine, sucrose (from the residual culture medium).
