Lactobacillus gasseri colonises the small intestine of humans.
- This creates acidic conditions so that thegrowth of pathogenic microorganismsis inhibited .
Bifidobacterium longum is found in the small intestine and large intestine.
- It primarily breaks down carbohydrates into acetic acid and lactic acid andcounteracts gas-formingbacteria.
Omniflora is used
- as a supportive treatment for diseases of the small or large intestine thatare accompanied by diarrhoea, flatulence or constipation .
- to support the rebuilding of the intestinal flora (e.g. after antibiotic treatment).

Directions
Adults: 3 x 1 capsule daily.
Children from 6 years and adolescents from 12 to 18 years:
- Please consult a doctor before use.
- 1 - 2 x 1 capsule daily.
Use in children under 6 years of age is not recommended.
The capsules should be taken whole with a little liquid at mealtimes.
Duration of use
A treatment period of 7 to 10 days is generally sufficient.Longer use may be necessary in individual cases.
Ingredients
The active ingredients are:25 mg Lactobacillus gasseri culture lyophilisate with 8 x 108 to 8 x 109 CFU/g (corresponding to 2 x 107to 2 x 108 CFU/capsule) with residual culture medium,25 mg Bifidobacterium longum culture lyophilisate with 8 x 108 to 8 x 109 CFU/g (corresponding to 2 x107 to 2 x 108 CFU/capsule) with residual culture medium.
The other ingredients are silicon dioxide, anhydrous lactose, gelatine, sucrose (from theresidual culture medium).
