How does Colibiogen® work?

Colibiogen® is produced from the specially selected bacterial strain "Escherichia coli Laves". The extract is obtained using a patented biotechnological production process and carefully prepared in a lengthy, scientifically rigorously tested process. The finished extract contains selected metabolic products of the bacterium, such as amino acids. These have extremely positive effects on the condition of the mucous membranes.

Indications

Food for special medical purposes (balanced diet). For dietary management of inflammation of the intestinal wall during antibiotic, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, for painful diverticular disease.
Colibiogen® is well tolerated even with long-term use. There are no known drug interactions. Colibiogen® can therefore be used both on its own and in combination with other therapeutic measures such as probiotic therapy.

How to use

How is Colibiogen® used?

Take half an hour before meals either pure or diluted with half a glass of water or tea. Colibiogen® can also be taken with milk, cocoa or half a cup of yoghurt.

For irritable bowel syndrome:

5 ml (= 1 teaspoon) of Colibiogen® daily until 4 weeks after the symptoms have subsided.

For inflammatory bowel diseases and during chemotherapy or radiotherapy:

Daily 5 ml (= 1 teaspoon) until 4 weeks after the symptoms have subsided. In acute cases up to 3x 5 ml daily.

Accompanying antibiotic therapy:

5 ml (= 1 teaspoon) of Colibiogen® daily for at least 3 weeks

Colibiogen® is well tolerated even with long-term use. No interactions with medication are known.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS: Store at temperatures up to 25 °C and protect from frost. Once opened, Colibiogen® oral can be kept for 6 weeks at room temperature.
