- The mouth, nose and throat are the first entry points for foreign germs. However, we have integrated an important first defence system in our mouth: The oral microbiome, also known as oral flora or oral microbiome. These are naturally occurring microorganisms in the oral cavity, predominantly beneficial bacteria that live on the oral mucosa.
- Our oral flora fulfils key functions in the mouth and throat. A large variety of different bacteria displaces foreign germs and thus ensures that they do not colonise the oral cavity. In addition, some types of bacteria in our oral flora can produce special defence substances that specifically attack and eliminate various pathogens.
- A healthy oral microbiome consists of around 800 to 1,000 different types of bacteria. Our lifestyle in particular has an influence on the oral microbiome: an unhealthy diet, medication or major fluctuations in the pH value within the oral cavity, for example due to high-sugar foods, can affect the oral microbiome and reduce both the diversity and the number of beneficial bacteria. This results in an imbalance, known as dysbiosis, which means that our oral microbiome can no longer fully fulfil its tasks.
- A healthy diet, maintaining a neutral pH value in the oral cavity and ingesting bacteria found in the mouth and throat are therefore sensible. Vitamin D is also particularly important, as this vitamin contributes to the normal function of the immune system. Vitamin D also contributes to normal cell division - including in the cells of the oral mucosa, which regenerate every eight to ten days.
- OMNi-BiOTiC® iMMUND Sachet contains the bacterial strain Streptococcus salivarius K12, which occurs naturally in the oral cavity and has been tested in many studies, as well as vitamin D. This vitamin ensures the normal functioning of the immune system in children and adults.
- The viability and reproductive capacity of the bacteria contained is guaranteed until the best-before date.

Dosage form
Intended use
- (Small) children from 1 year: We recommend taking 1 sachet of OMNi-BiOTiC® iMMUND (=1.5 g) per day. Dip a moistened dummy or spoon into the sachet. The powder is then placed on the dummy or spoon directly into the child's mouth, where it dissolves within 30 seconds. Repeat the process until the contents of the sachet are empty.
- Suitable for diabetics, children, pregnancy / breastfeeding.
- Instructions:Do not pour the contents of the sachet directly into the child's mouth.
