OKUZELL® classic eye drops relieve discomfort caused by tired, burning and dry eyes. Natural hypromellose moisturises and protects the cornea.

Working at a computer screen for long periods strains the eyes, especially in air-conditioned rooms. This quickly leads to a feeling of dryness.

The reason for this is that prolonged staring at displays or screens reduces the number of blinks that normally distribute the protective tear film evenly across the eye. The tear film then breaks up and the eyes itch and burn.

If the surface of the eye is no longer supplied with sufficient moisture, this can lead to damage to the superficial skin cells and inflammatory reactions such as redness. This is known as "dry eye" or sicca syndrome. In this case, it is recommended to use additional lubricating eye drops to restore the continuous tear film and eliminate eye irritation.

Okuzell classic eye drops have been tried and tested for many years. They contain hypromellose made from natural cellulose, which binds moisture. When applied, the hypromellose and the water it binds are distributed on the cornea and supplement the tear fluid. The surface of the eye remains evenly moisturised and does not dry out, irritation and redness are reduced.

Okuzell classic eye drops are suitable for mild cases of "dry eye", are reasonably priced and well tolerated if you are not sensitive to preservatives.
