Directions for use
- Adults and adolescents aged 14 years and over: 1 dissolvable tablet daily.
- Children and adolescents under 14 years of age: Mucobene 600 mg soluble tablets should notbe used due to the high active ingredient content. Acetylcysteine in suitable pharmaceutical forms with a loweractive ingredient content is availablefor these patients.
- Route of administration: For oral use after dissolving . The soluble tablets aretaken after meals dissolved in a glass of water or fruit juice.
- Advice: Always prepare the solution fresh.Do not take soluble tablets undissolved . Do not dissolve soluble tablets at the same time as other medicines. The mucolytic effect is enhanced by drinking plenty of fluids.
- Duration of use: If your symptoms worsen or there is no improvement after 4-5 days, you should consult a doctor.
Ingredients
The active ingredient is acetylcysteine. 1 soluble tablet contains 600 mg acetylcysteine.
The other ingredients are: aspartame (E 951), citric acid, adipic acid, sodium hydrogen carbonate, povidone (K25),lemon flavouring.
