The active ingredient acetylcysteine contained in Mucobene 600 mg soluble tablets liquefies thick mucus in the airways. Mucobene 600 mg soluble tablets are suitable as an additional therapy together with plenty of fluids to loosen mucus and facilitate coughing in respiratory diseases (lungs and bronchi).

If you do not feel better or even worse after 4 to 5 days, consult your doctor.

Directions for use

Adults and adolescents aged 14 years and over: 1 dissolvable tablet daily.
Children and adolescents under 14 years of age: Mucobene 600 mg soluble tablets should notbe used due to the high active ingredient content. Acetylcysteine in suitable pharmaceutical forms with a loweractive ingredient content is availablefor these patients.
Route of administration: For oral use after dissolving . The soluble tablets aretaken after meals dissolved in a glass of water or fruit juice.
Advice: Always prepare the solution fresh.Do not take soluble tablets undissolved . Do not dissolve soluble tablets at the same time as other medicines. The mucolytic effect is enhanced by drinking plenty of fluids.
Duration of use: If your symptoms worsen or there is no improvement after 4-5 days, you should consult a doctor.

Ingredients

The active ingredient is acetylcysteine. 1 soluble tablet contains 600 mg acetylcysteine.

The other ingredients are: aspartame (E 951), citric acid, adipic acid, sodium hydrogen carbonate, povidone (K25),lemon flavouring.
