AEON PROTECT was developed to provide relief for people with mild to moderate dry eye. AEON PROTECT contains 0.3% sodium hyaluronate with PEG 400, which provides long-lasting lubrication and dry eye relief.

It is phosphate-free and contains SCO, a second-generation preservative that breaks down into natural components of tears when exposed to light, meaning it is preservative-free for the eye. SCO technology therefore does not damage the surface of the eye like first-generation preservative eye drops.

AEON PROTECT is a phosphate-free solution for long-lasting relief of dry eye symptoms. AEON PROTECT contains sodium hyaluronate, a natural component of the tear fluid that keeps the surface of the eye moisturised. AEON PROTECT also contains PEG 400, which prolongs the effect of sodium hyaluronate and makes the surface of the eye lubricated. AEON PROTECT is preserved with a special system, SCO (Stabilised Complex Oxychloro), which keeps the solution in the bottle sterile. When exposed to light, SCO dissolves into components found in human tears, such as sodium chloride, oxygen and water, ensuring high compatibility.
