Mirfulan® ointment, 30 G

Mirfulan® ointment is a skin care and skin protection ointment that supports the skin's healing process and promotes the formation of young, vascularised tissue.

Mirfulan® is a wound and healing ointment. The vitamin A contained in cod liver oil has a favourable effect on skin injuries. The combination of active ingredients accelerates the healing process of the skin and promotes the formation of young, vascularised tissue.

Mirfulan® is used for general wound treatment, for the treatment of non-infected skin damage such as minor burns, for bedsores, after radiotherapy, for stump care for prosthesis wearers and for wounds under nappies.

How to use

• Always apply Mirfulan® exactly according to the dosage specified in the instructions for use. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure. ApplyMirfulan® once or several times a day, as required, about ½ - 1 millimetre thick to the skin areas to be treated and spread evenly.
• The duration of use depends on the severity and duration of the disease.
• Notes: Ointment residues can be carefully removed with a warm soap solution if the condition of the wound permits. Mirfulan® can also be applied under dressings. If you have used a larger amount of Mirfulan® than you should Overdose symptoms are not known.

Ingredients

• The active ingredients are: Cod liver oil, zinc oxide, extractum hamamelidis (hamamelis extract), urea (urea).
• 100 g ointment contains 10 g cod liver oil enriched with vitamins A and D, 10 g zinc oxide, 5 g Extractum hamamelidis, 1 g urea. Hamamelidis, 1 g urea.
• 1 g ointment corresponds to 1000 I.U. vitamin A and 200 I.U. vitamin D3.
• The other ingredients are: White vaseline, wool wax alcohol ointment, thin paraffin, glycerol monostearate (Imwitor900), 2,6-di-tert-butyl-p-cresol-L(+)-6-0-palmitoylascorbic acid-citric acid 1H2O glycerol monostearate-propylene glycol (Oxynex 2004), purified water.
