Mefix® is a self-adhesive fixation fleece for the secure and reliable fixation of wound dressings, compresses, catheters and cannulas. It is breathable, water-repellent and offers optimum protection against contamination.

How Mefix® works

The porous structure of the non-woven fabric ensures air and water permeability. The material is stretchy, supple and allows body movement. It is also non-absorbent and thus prevents soaking. The polyacrylate adhesive ensures gentle adhesion and secure adhesion at the same time. The protective film is marked at 10 cm intervals and perforated in a wavy pattern for easy and safe removal and application. Mefix can be cut to the desired shape and size. The unique, wave-shaped perforated protective film facilitates fixing and makes working with gloves quick and easy.

Application

1. Cut the dressing to the desired size. Separate the two strips of protective paper by stretching the bandage slightly crosswise.
2. First remove the narrow strip of protective film.
3. Now apply the part with the exposed adhesive to the skin. Remove the remaining protective paper. Please ensure that you do not overstretch Mefix during application.
