- The intestine is colonised by billions of bacteria so that it can perform these functions successfully. The natural intestinal flora consists of a large number of different types of bacteria that colonise the intestine from its beginning to its last sections. The vital, active intestinal bacteria support digestion, influence the defence system and form a strong protective barrier against foreign germs. The intestinal flora also stimulates intestinal movements.2
- A well-functioning intestinal flora therefore supports our health, our well-being and a vital life.3 A healthy, wholesome diet with plenty of vegetables, fruit and wholemeal cereal products as well as rest and exercise are good for the intestinal flora. However, the intestinal flora can react very sensitively to internal and external disturbances.
- Unbalanced eating habits, infections and diarrhoea, chronic long-term stress and certain medicines such as antibiotics can change the good composition of the intestinal flora. The natural balance between the bacteria can shift. An imbalance (dysbiosis) can develop from the balanced coexistence.
Dosage form
Directions for use
- The recommended dose is 1 sachet once a day (1 sachet = 2 g).
- Dissolve the contents of one sachet in 1/8 litre of lukewarm water. Wait for 1 minute activation time, stir and drink.
- MULTIflora® Darmmanager is best taken on an empty stomach, i.e. before breakfast or in the evening just before going to bed. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
- MULTIflora® Darmmanager is intended for adults and children from 1 year of age. Due to the fact that the intestinal flora is not yet fully developed, the recommended dose for children between 1 and 3 years of age is 1 sachet spread over 2 days.
Ingredients
- Ingredients: maize starch, maltodextrin, fructooligosaccharides (FOS), vegetable protein, bacterial strains*, amylase, biotin.
- Nutritional values per 1 sachet (daily dose): Calorific value 29 kJ/7 kcal, fat < 0.5 g of which saturated fatty acids < 0.5 g, carbohydrates 1.6 g of which sugar < 0.5 g, protein < 0.5 g, fibre <0.5 g, salt 0.02 g, biotin 20 µg (40 % NRV1). 1 NRV = reference quantity for the daily intake of vitamins and minerals.
- Intestinal bacteria 7 bacterial strains* with at least 2 billion bacteria per sachet (= 2 g): * Bifidobacterium bifidum W23, Bifidobacterium lactis W51, Enterococcus faecium W54, Lactobacillus casei W56, Lactococcus lactis W58, Lactobacillus rhamnosus W71, Lactobacillus salivarius W57. MULTIflora® Darmmanager contains fructooligosaccharides (FOS) as a nutritional basis for the bacterial strains.
