The herbal medicinal substances in Klosterfrau Melissa Spirit® have a balancing effect on the vegetative nervous system; in the case of psychovegetative complaints they have a calming, relaxing or antispasmodic effect on the nerves, stomach and intestines.
The essential oils have a preventative effect against colds and flu-like infections and as a supportive measure for complaints caused by colds and flu-like infections. Applied externally, Klosterfrau Melissa Spirit promotes blood circulation, relieves pain and relaxes the muscles under the skin.

Internally:
- For psychovegetative, nervous disorders such as: states of tension and excitement, inner restlessness, nervousness, stage fright, to promote sleep readiness, nervous headaches, weather sensitivity, heart complaints without organic cause.
- For nervous stomach and intestinal complaints: Intolerance to flatulent foods with a feeling of fullness, lack of appetite.
- For prevention and as a supportive measure for complaints caused by a cold or flu-like infection.
Externally:
- For sore muscles, lumbago, nerve pain
Dosage form
How to use
- Internally: The medicine must be diluted before use according to the dosage schedule. Take 3 times 1 to 2 teaspoons (3 times 5 to 10 ml) of Klosterfrau Melissa Spirit diluted with at least twice the amount of liquid (water, juice, tea) after meals. Treatment should be continuous for at least seven days.
- Externally: Apply undiluted or diluted up to twice the amount with water to the painful areas and rub in. Only use on healthy skin!
- Use in children and adolescents: Klosterfrau Melissa Spirit must not be used internally in children and adolescents due to its high alcohol content. For external use, see adults.
- Duration of use: There is no limit to the duration of use.

- The active ingredients are: Essential oils (in the alcoholic aqueous distillate) of: Melissa leaves, elecampane root, gentian root, bitter orange peel, angelica root, ginger rhizome, cloves, galangal rhizome, cinnamon bark, cinnamon flowers, nutmeg seeds, black pepper, cardamom.
- The other ingredients are: Ethanol, water.
- Klosterfrau Melissa Spirit contains 79 % ethanol (alcohol) by volume.
