Ibumetin® Express 400 mg soft capsules, 20 ST

Ibumetin® Express contains an active ingredient called ibuprofen. Ibuprofen belongs to a group of medicines called "non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs" (non-steroidal anti-rheumatic drugs [NSAIDs]). These medicines have a pain-relieving and antipyretic effect.

Ibumetin® Express is used in adults and adolescents weighing 40 kg or more (aged 12 years and over) for the short-term symptomatic treatment of

• mild to moderate pain such as headache, menstrual pain, toothache, muscle pain and joint pain.
• Fever associated with colds.

If you do not feel better or feel worse after 3 days of fever or after more than 4 days of pain, consult your doctor.

Directions for use

• Adults and adolescents from 40 kg body weight (from 12 years of age): Take one softgel capsule with water. If necessary, the intake of one softgel capsule can be repeated at intervals of at least 6 hours. Do not take more than three softgel capsules in a 24-hour period.
• Use in children and adolescents: Do not give Ibumetin Express to adolescents weighing less than 40 kg or children under 12 years of age. There is a risk of reduced kidney function in children and adolescents who are dehydrated.
  
• Route of administration: Ibumetin Express is intended for oral use. The soft capsules should be swallowed whole with a glass of water. If you suffer from mild indigestion, it is recommended to take this medicine with a meal or milk to avoid gastrointestinal problems.
• Duration of use: Adults: If you do not feel better or feel worse after 3 days for fever or after more than 4 days for pain, consult your doctor. Adolescents aged 12 years and over: If you need to take this medicine for more than 3 days or if symptoms worsen, consult your doctor.

Ingredients

• What Ibumetin Express contains - The active substance is: Ibuprofen. Each soft capsule contains 400 mg ibuprofen.
• The other ingredients are: Capsule filling: macrogol 600, potassium hydroxide (E 525), purified water. Capsule shell: gelatine, sorbitol solution (non-crystallising) (E 420), purified water.
