Dust mites and other ‘roommates’ are traditionally treated with chemical agents, but the results are often unsatisfactory. Electric-powered ultrasonic plug-in device to combat dust mites in homes and offices. The plug-in is suitable for a room of up to 60 square metres. We recommend one plug-in for every room where the person with allergies spends a significant amount of time.

^{ULTRASOUNDtechTM} offers innovative solutions that use ultrasound technology to successfully combat house dust mites. Ultrasound waves are an eco-friendly and safe alternative for effectively combating house dust mite allergies. ^AcarZeroTM HOME (220V) is effective in a room of up to 30 m². The ultrasonic waves emitted, with a frequency of approximately 40,000 Hz, disrupt the physiology of house dust mites, which has a negative effect on their reproduction. The sound waves are completely harmless to humans and pets.

After approximately 90 days, the house dust mite colony is significantly reduced, and with it the production of allergens (excreta). We recommend installing a plug in every room where a dust mite colony is likely to develop (carpets, sofas, beds, etc.).

Please note that two LED lights indicate that the plug is active and functioning. This may be distracting for people who are sensitive to light.

How do ultrasonic waves work?

Ultrasonic waves are mechanical waves that can spread throughout a room, reaching even the furthest corners. ULTRASOUNDtech™ has identified the wavelengths that are effective against the most common pests and parasites. Sound and ultrasonic waves can be used as a natural deterrent against ‘unwanted guests’. By emitting ultrasonic waves at a frequency tailored to the specific pest, the reproduction of house dust mites is disrupted, leading to the elimination of the mite colony over the course of their life cycle (approx. 90 days).

Scientifically tested

The AcarZero™ anti-dust mite plug has been tested for effectiveness by the laboratory of the Department of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Camerino (IT). This study was in turn validated by the University of Milan. Detailed information on this is available on request. Unlike chemical active ingredients, which lose their effectiveness over time, AcarZero™ remains effective throughout the entire period.
