Good to know

House dust mites can be found in households all over the world. As they mainly feed on dead skin cells, mites prefer to live in mattresses, carpets and upholstered furniture that are frequently used by people. They prefer temperatures between 20 and 25°C and humidity between 60 and 70 %.

Mattresses are the ideal habitat for house dust mites, as human sweat increases the moisture in the mattress and serves as an inexhaustible source of food. As each female lays 20 to 80 eggs, the number of house dust mites in a bed can explode from 1 to 1,000,000 in just a few weeks. House dust mites themselves are not allergenic, but their shed exoskeletons and faeces contain proteins that can cause allergic reactions in sensitive people. The symptoms range from allergic rhinitis (runny or blocked nose), conjunctivitis and neurodermatitis to asthma and can be severe in some people.

Spray
75 ml (sufficient for 4 single bed applications)

How to use

Preparation: Cover your mattress with a 100% cotton cover (e.g. towel or sheet).
Attract house dust mites: Spray the ExAller® solution evenly onto the surface. 1 spray per 30 x 30 cm section is recommended.
Wait: Allow the solution to work for at least 1 to max. 2 hours.
Remove dust mites: Wash the cover at 60°C in the washing machine. After using ExAller®, the treated area should also be vacuumed to remove any remaining mites

Dosage:

Treatment for infestation: 1 x per week for 3 weeks.
To prevent further occurrences: Apply once a month.

Advice: Do not use if the packaging is damaged. Keep out of the reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use after the expiry date on the bottle. This product has not been tested on children under 3 years of age, pregnant or breastfeeding women.
