HyalOne 60 mg/4 ml prefilled syringe is a medical device indicated for the treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee joint (gonarthrosis) and osteoarthritis of the hip joint (coxarthrosis).

What characterises Hyalone®

The ideal substitute: The sodium hyaluronate contained in Hyalone® is very similar to the body's own hyaluronan, which is usually insufficient in osteoarthritis.
Regardless of age and weight: Hyalone® improves all clinical parameters in coxarthrosis across all age groups^.1
Time saved before hip surgery: Patients with hip osteoarthritis can significantly delay the implantation of a hip prosthesis with Hyalone®^.2
Single application Hyalone® worksfor six months after a singleapplication - making it ideal for patients who are under pressure to make appointments, are afraid of injections or have a tendency to bleed.

HYALONE® is indicated for the treatment of:

Pain and the improvement of joint function in patients with degenerative or mechanical joint changes of the hip and knee.
Persistent pain after the initial failure of painkillers or the failure or intolerance of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

How does Hyalone® work?

Hyalone® contains sodium hyaluronate, a natural, high molecular weight (1500-2000 KDa) hyaluronic acid that is very similar to physiological hyaluronic acid (HA).
The degenerative and inflammatory processes that occur in osteoarthritis alter both the quantity (reduction in concentration) and the quality (reduction in molecular weight) of HA in the synovial fluid and increasingly destroy the surface layer of articular cartilage.
In order to counteract these processes, the treatment of osteoarthritis by means of intra-articular viscosupplementation with exogenous hyaluronic acid was developed. The sodium hyaluronate in Hyalone®️ provides viscosupplementation and thus improves the mechanics of joint function, while the hyaluronic acid acts as shock absorption and lubrication^.5
In this way, pain can be significantly reduced and joint mobility improved.

Directions for use

Hyalone® is intended for single use in the form of an injection. If necessary, a further injection can be administered every six months.
Notes: The application may only be carried out by qualified doctors.

Main ingredient: Sodium salt of hyaluronic acid 1.5 %.
Other ingredients: Sodium chloride, disodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, water for injection.
