circumed® Gefäß is used for dietary management of circulatory disorders, especially diabetes mellitus, high blood pressure, arteriosclerosis, elevated homocysteine levels, erectile dysfunction or wound healing disorders.

circumed® contains a high concentration of the natural amino acid L-arginine which, in combination with folic acid, makes a valuable contribution to improving blood circulation and protecting the endothelial cells on the inner wall of the blood vessels. The natural vasoactive messenger substance nitric oxide (NO) is formed from L-arginine, which is required for the dilation of blood vessels, the regulation of blood flow and blood pressure and for the optimal function of the inner wall of blood vessels (endothelium). Arginine also promotes the formation of connective tissue and supports wound healing. Folic acid has a function in cell division and contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism.

Active ingredients

• L-arginine: The natural, vasoactive messenger substance nitric oxide (NO) is formed from the amino acid L-arginine - a protein building block produced naturally in the body. NO - the anti-arteriosclerotic signalling molecule in the cardiovascular system - is required for the dilation of blood vessels, the regulation of blood flow and blood pressure as well as for the protection and optimal function of the inner blood vessel wall (endothelium). Arginine is the direct precursor in the body's own NO synthesis. Only if the organism has sufficient quantities of L-arginine available can an adequate amount of the messenger substance nitric oxide be produced. Arginine also promotes the formation of connective tissue and supports wound healing.
• Folic acid: Alongside cholesterol, homocysteine is considered one of the most important risk factors for vascular and cardiovascular diseases. Folic acid - a vitamin from the B group - has a function in cell division and contributes to a normal homocysteine metabolism. Arteriosclerosis and its secondary diseases, such as high blood pressure, are often associated with an arginine deficiency. Diabetes mellitus in particular, but also potency disorders, stress and old age are often associated with an increased need for L-arginine.

circumed® helps to ensure the daily supply of arginine and folic acid in the event of additional requirements or existing deficiencies. The combined use of high doses of arginine and folic acid can help prevent arteriosclerosis and diseases from the arteriosclerosis spectrum.

• Stir 1 sachet once a day into a glass of water or juice (250-300 ml), dissolve completely and drink with or after meals.
