The wormwood potion according to Hildegard of Bingen is a unique mixture of natural bitter substances, especially wormwood. This potion is described in Hildegard of Bingen's literature as an annual spring cure and is recommended to be taken every third day before breakfast between May and October, but it can also be taken all year round if required. It provides a flavour experience and the opportunity to replenish the bitter substance depot.
