UNItears eye drops without preservatives is an instillation solution for the eyes with hypromellose and dexpanthenol. It has a protective epithelialising and moisturising effect.
Hypromellose forms a temporary protective film on the surface of the cornea, moisturises the surface of the eye and serves as a replacement fluid in the event of insufficient tear formation and eliminates the feeling of "eye dryness". At the same time, it provides relief from mild non-infectious eye irritation. Dexpanthenol (a vitamin of the B group) promotes cell renewal on the corneal surface (epithelialisation). UNItears without preservatives is therefore also ideal for contact lens wearers and people with particularly sensitive eyes.
Properties
Hypromellosum (hypromelose):
- Moisturises the outer surface of the eye and serves as a substitute in case of insufficient tear formation
- Provides relief from mild eye irritation of a non-infectious nature
- Eliminates the feeling of "dryness" in the eyes
Dexpantenol (group B vitamin):
- Promotes rapid cell renewal on the corneal surface (epitelisation)
Areas of application
- For the supportive treatment of reduced tear formation (sicca syndrome)
- For small scratches on the cornea
- If small foreign bodies have entered the conjunctival sac after eye surgery (cataract, Lasik)
- To soothe unpleasant sensations caused by wind, dust, smoke, etc.
- To relieve tired eyes caused by reading, driving, watching TV and working at a computer screen

How to use
The recommended dose is 1 drop in each eye, 2-3 times a day. However, 1 drop can also be instilled every hour as required. The preparation can be used by adults, adolescents and children.
Ingredients
Composition: hypromellose 5 mg per 1 ml solution, dexpanthenol, sodium chloride, disodium edetate dihydrate, water for injections.
