Gall Pharma L-Lysine HCl Capsules are a food supplement containing 500 mg L-lysine hydrochloride per capsule. The essential amino acid supports the treatment of herpes infections and wound healing and prolongs herpes-free intervals.

L-lysine is an essential amino acid, which means that the body cannot produce it itself. This amino acid must therefore be supplied with food. A permanent deficiency of this essential amino acid leads, among other things, to disorders in the growth of bones, the formation of new tissue and reduces the function of the immune system.

L-lysine is also an antagonist of the amino acid arginine, which is a nutrient of the herpes virus. The herpes simplex virus is responsible for the development of cold sores. The outbreak of these blisters usually results from a weakening of the immune system. L-lysine also has a positive effect on wound healing and promotes the healing of cold sores in particular.
