DicloAkut® Schmerzgel 1% Gel belongs to the group of so-called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), which are used to treat pain and inflammation.

DicloAkut pain gel is intended for external use only. The white, cream-like preparation is quickly absorbed into the skin without being greasy and has a cooling effect. DicloAkut Schmerzgel has an anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effect. DicloAkut pain gel leads to a reduction in inflammatory swelling and relief from pressure and movement pain.

DicloAkut pain gel is used for the local treatment of

Pain caused by muscle tension (including lumbago). Pain and swelling after blunt injuries and sports injuries (e.g. sprains, strains, bruises).

If you do not feel better or even worse after 7 days, consult your doctor.

How to use

Adults: DicloAkut pain gel is intended for use on the skin. Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, apply a cherry to walnut-sized amount - depending on the size of the painful area to be treated - (equivalent to 2-4 g) of DicloAkut Schmerzgel to the affected area and rub the gel in gently. You can repeat this process up to 3-4 times a day. Wash your hands after rubbing in DicloAkut Schmerzgel, unless the affected areas are on your hands.
Use in children and adolescents: No clinical data are yet available on the efficacy and safety of this pharmaceutical form in children and adolescents under 14 years of age and only limited data in adolescents aged 14 to 18 years. DicloAkut Schmerzgel must not be used at all in children and adolescents under 14 years of age and in adolescents between 14 and 18 years of age only under medical supervision and on small areas. In adolescents, please pay particular attention to any general side effects caused by the absorption of the active ingredient into the circulation (e.g. stomach problems) and consult your doctor if this is the case.
Advice: Contact your doctor if the pain and swelling do not improve or worsen within 7 days. Do not use DicloAkut Pain Gel for longer than 2 weeks unless your doctor recommends a longer period of use.

Ingredients

The active ingredient is: Diclofenac.
100 g gel contains 1.16 g diclofenac diethylamine, corresponding to 1 g diclofenac sodium.
The other ingredients are: Propylene glycol, isopropyl alcohol, diethylamine, paraffin oil macrogol cetyl stearyl ether, carbomer 974 P, cocoyl caprylocaprate, perfume cream 45399, purified water.
