Carbo medicinalis "Sanova" tablets are a medicinal product for adsorption therapy for acute non-specific diarrhoea, especially when travelling in countries with low hygiene standards.

Carbo medicinalis "Sanova" tablets contain high-quality medicinal activated charcoal, which is produced by special carbonisation of plant materials. Due to its large surface area, it has a high binding capacity. In particular, toxic substances, viruses, bacteria and their toxins are bound.

Carbo medicinalis "Sanova" tablets are used to treat diarrhoea, especially when travelling in countries with an increased hygiene risk. Medicinal charcoal is excreted naturally together with the adsorbed toxins.

How to use

• Treatment of diarrhoea: The recommended dose for adults, adolescents and children from 2 years of age is 4 tablets 3 times a day.
• Method of administration: The tablets can be chewed or taken whole with a little liquid. For small children, the tablets should, if possible, be administered well crushed with viscous or mushy food, preferably without milk or sugar.
• Duration of use: Carbo medicinalis "Sanova" should be used until bowel movements have normalised. If there is no improvement after 3 days, you must consult a doctor.
• Notes: As activated charcoal is excreted unchanged, the stools will turn black after ingestion. Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is possible.

Ingredients

• The active ingredient is: 250 mg carbo adsorbens (medicinal activated charcoal) per tablet.
• The other ingredients are: Maltodextrin, hydroxypropyl cellulose, povidone (K25), iron oxideblack, magnesium stearate.
