CAYA diaphragm with storage box, 1 ST
The Caya® contoured diaphragm is a newly developed barrier contraceptive for hormone-free contraception. The Caya® is anatomically and ergonomically shaped and therefore fits most women. It can easily be used together with condoms.
- Silicone membrane: wafer-thin, completely covers the cervix.
- Edge: flexible, gives the diaphragm stability and supports the insertion of the diaphragm. The rim provides support and ensures correct positioning of the diaphragm.
- Grip nubs: guide for insertion, where the diaphragm is folded with light finger pressure.
- Recessed grip: makes it easier to remove the diaphragm.
Dosage form
Application
- Is inserted into the vagina.
- Lies between the posterior vaginal vault and the niche on the pubic bone.
- Covers the cervix completely.
- Acts as a mechanical barrier that prevents sperm from entering the cervix.
- Caya® should always be used in combination with a contraceptive gel (e.g. Caya® Gel). A good combination for hormone-free contraception!
