Dosage form
How to use
- Before insertion, about one teaspoon (approx. 4ml) of Caya® Gel is placed in the membrane of the diaphragm. The respective instructions for use should be followed. The vaginal applicator is optionally used if additional gel is to be placed in front of the existing diaphragm (e.g. the Caya® contoured diaphragm) during intercourse. The vaginal applicator can be used several times, but should be cleaned with warm water after each use.
- Note: Caya® Gel does not provide protection against sexually transmitted diseases. Caya® Gel alone, used without a barrier contraceptive, is not a safe method of contraception. Caya® Gel is water-soluble, therefore compatible with condoms and perfectly suitable for contraception without hormones.
