Dosage form
Directions for use
- Tear off a suppository at the perforated section of the strip. Open the packet by gently pulling it apart and remove the suppository. Insert the suppository into the rectum with the narrow end first. For hygiene reasons, it is recommended that you wash your hands before and after insertion. The effect sets in within 60 minutes of administration.
- WARNING: Keep out of reach of children. Do not take the suppositories by mouth. Do not use after the expiry date or if the packaging is open or damaged.
- Duration of use: Take one suppository per day, preferably in the evening or as directed by your doctor. The duration of use depends on the progression of the condition being treated and should not exceed 30 days.
- For the supportive treatment of internal and external haemorrhoids: 1 suppository daily before bedtime for 5–15 days until symptoms subside.
- To aid the healing of fissures and fistulas in the rectal area; following colorectal surgery: 1 suppository per day before going to bed for 20–30 days.
- For the relief of non-specific inflammation such as proctitis, cryptitis, etc.: 1 suppository daily before going to bed for 25–30 days.
