Blephaclean are sterile wipes for daily eyelid hygiene, especially:

If you have sensitive skin, eyelids or eyes;
If you want to remove dust, pollen and secretions from your eyelids. This could be part of your eye care regime if you have an allergy or suffer from an eye infection;
If you have an inflammation or infection of the eyelids such as blepharitis, meibomian gland dysfunction, styes or chalazion. These conditions can lead to symptoms of dry eyes such as itchy, raw, irritated and/or inflamed eyes;
If you need to clean your eyelids before ophthalmological procedures such as therapeutic injections into the eye (intravitreal injections), refractive laser eye surgery (LASIK or PRK) and cataract surgery. As it is well tolerated

Blephaclean can also be used after surgery on the advice of your doctor or ophthalmologist. Blephaclean cleans and removes dust, pollen and secretions from the eyelids. Blephaclean is gentle on the skin around the eyes and on the skin's natural bacterial flora. The product has been tested under ophthalmological supervision.

How to use

Use twice daily for 5 days before eye surgery or as recommended by your doctor or pharmacist.In other cases, use twice daily morning and evening for 3 weeks, then once daily for 3 months or as recommended by your doctor or pharmacist. Long-term eyelid hygiene is recommended for chronic eyelid diseases. No special training is required to use Blephaclean. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before using Blephaclean. Wash your hands thoroughly before use.

Cleaning the eyelids and eyelashes: Open the packaging bag and unfold the compress inside. With your eyes closed, gently press the compress onto your eyelids and eyelashes. Gentle circular massaging movements on the eyelid gently remove incrustations, secretions and make-up.
Cleaning the edge of the eyelid: Carefully open the eyelid in front of a mirror by gently pulling the eyelashes downwards. Carefully clean the edge of the eyelid with a rolled-up compress.
Repeat the process on the other eye, using a new compress.

Note: If you wear contact lenses, they must be removed before using BLEPHACLEAN.
