Biocarbon tablets are a medicinal product and contain high-quality activated charcoal, which is produced by a special carbonisation process using plant-based materials. Due to its large surface area, it has a high binding capacity.
Biocarbon tablets are used to treat diarrhoea, particularly when travelling to countries with higher hygiene risks. The medicinal charcoal is excreted naturally along with the adsorbed harmful substances.
Biocarbon® is a remedy for the gut made from pure activated charcoal. The activated charcoal, which has cleansing and detoxifying properties for the digestive system, is produced from plant-based sources.

Usage
- Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, the usual dose for adults, children aged 2 years and over, and adolescents is 4 tablets three times a day.
- Method of administration: The tablets may be chewed or swallowed whole with a little liquid.
- Duration of use: BIOCARBON should be taken until bowel movements have returned to normal. If there is no improvement after 3 days, you must consult a doctor.

- The active ingredient is: activated charcoal (medical-grade activated charcoal). One tablet contains 250 mg of activated charcoal.
- The other ingredients are: maltodextrin, hydroxypropyl cellulose, povidone (K 25), black iron oxide (E172), magnesium stearate.
