BIOGELAT® NaturCarotin combined capsules are a dietary supplement to support and maintain a tan. With vitamin C, E, selenium and natural carotenoids from the seaweed Dunaliella Salina.

To be able to enjoy the sun on holiday without regret, the body needs to be supplied with a large amount of carotenoids as a protective shield.
To support and maintain a tan, you should therefore ensure a sufficient and regular supply of carotenoids.
The carotenoids contained in BIOGELAT® NaturCarotin combined are extracted from one of the most carotenoid-rich plants in the world, the Australian seaweed (Dunaliella salina), and are naturally also free from colouring agents.
The antioxidants vitamin C and vitamin E also help to neutralise free radicals from the inside and counteract cell damage.

Active ingredients

Carotenoids protect human cells from the attack of free radicals, which occur particularly when sunbathing. Our body needs at least 3-6 mg of natural carotenoids every day. Vegetables and fruit with bright yellow, orange-coloured flesh (apricot, mango, carrots), green leafy vegetables and the Australian seaweed Dunaliella salina are particularly rich in these active ingredients. Our body therefore only receives the recommended amount of carotenoids if we eat generous portions of fruit and vegetables every day. In times of great stress, such as a sun holiday, the body needs an even greater amount as a protective shield, which is difficult to obtain from food. In this case, vitamin supplements with natural carotenoids made from renewable raw materials can help.

Important: Look out for products with natural carotene - such as BIOGELAT® Natural Carotene Combined capsules. This can be better utilised by the body than pure, synthetic beta-carotene.

Everyone is exposed to environmental toxins on a daily basis: increased UV rays, air pollution, cigarette smoke etc.. This leads to an increase in the formation of so-called free radicals in our bodies. These aggressive oxygen molecules are normally used to fight bacteria or viruses. Too many of them pose a danger, as they can damage body cells. Premature ageing of the cells is a possible consequence. Natural substances known as radical scavengers or antioxidants can alleviate the harmful influence of free radicals.

Vitamin C plays an important role in the destruction of so-called "free radicals" and in the formation of connective tissue. In the case of broken bones and wounds, vitamin C can lead to faster recovery. It also improves the absorption of iron.

Vitamin E has an important protective function in the human organism due to its ability to intercept and inactivate so-called "free radicals" (= unstable, highly active atoms or molecules). These free radicals are increasingly produced by harmful environmental pollution, stress, but also by increased alcohol and cigarette consumption.

Selenium is considered an essential trace element, i.e. a vital substance that must be supplied to the body through food. In the body, selenium is found particularly in the kidneys, liver, muscles and skeleton. Selenium is mainly absorbed through meat (liver, kidney), seafood, milk and vegetables.
