Directions for use
- Adults: Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, adults instil 1 drop into the conjunctival sac of the diseased eye 1-4 times a day or more frequently, depending on the severity of the disease.
- Children and adolescents up to 18 years of age: The efficacy and safety in children and adolescents at the recommended dosage for adults is based on clinical experience. No data from clinical studies are available.
- Route of administration: Do not ingest! Do not use the vial if the seal around the cap is not intact when first opened. The gel remains sterile until the cap is opened for the first time. The dropper must not come into contact with any surface, including the eye, as this may cause injury and contaminate the solution. This medicine is intended for use in the eye.
- Duration of use: The duration of treatment depends on the condition. If the symptoms do not improve or worsen within a few days, a doctor or ophthalmologist should be consulted. Preservative-free eye products should be used for long-term use.
Ingredients
- The active ingredient is carbomer 974P. 1 g eye gel contains: 2.5 mg carbomer 974 P 1 g (corresponding to 0.98 ml) corresponds to an average of 40 drops.
- The other ingredients are Benzalkonium chloride, sorbitol, lysine monohydrate, sodium acetate trihydrate, polyvinyl alcohol, water for injection.
