Aciclobene® cold sore cream - inhibits the viruses

Herpes viruses are the cause of cold sores. Most people carry this virus, but this does not necessarily mean that a viral outbreak will occur. Fever blisters belong to the group of smear infections and can therefore be transmitted through the use of the same utensils or through kissing.

Cold sores are characterised by weeping blisters, itching, a feeling of tightness or pain in the mouth area. Precautionary measures such as the application of cold sore creams should be taken at the first sign of a cold sore. Aciclobene® helps in the treatment of cold sores. The active ingredient aciclovir penetrates the skin and inhibits the herpes viruses at the outbreak site.

Care should be taken to wash hands thoroughly before and after application to prevent transmission to other areas. Aciclobene® cold sore cream should be applied carefully to the affected areas. Our tip: Use a cotton bud to apply the cream. This prevents the viruses from spreading to other areas.

Aciclobene "ratiopharm" cold sore cream contains a virus inhibitor that is highly active against certain viruses of the herpes group.

How to use

Aciclobene "ratiopharm" cold sore cream shouldbe applied thinly to theaffected areas of skin 5 times a day at four-hour intervalsso that all skin lesions are sufficiently covered.

If you apply Aciclobene "ratiopharm" cold sore cream to the lips with your finger,you should clean your hands thoroughly before and after application to avoid infection of other parts of the body (especially the eye and the mucous membranes in the mouth and vaginal area). It may be useful to wear finger protection or rubber gloves.Close the tube carefullyafteruse.

The duration of treatment is usually 5 days, but canbe extended to up to 10 days in individual cases, depending on theprogress of healing.

Treatment with Aciclobene "ratiopharm" cold sore cream should be started as soon as possibleafter the outbreak of the infection. In the case of frequently recurring infections, treatment should be started as soon as possible when the first signs such as itching, redness and a feeling of tightness appear (prodromal stage).

Ingredients

The active ingredient is: acyclovir.

1 g cream contains 50 mg acyclovir.

The other ingredients are:propylene glycol, white vaseline, liquid paraffin, macrogol glycerol stearate, cetyl alcohol,dimethicone, purified water
