Apozema® Psoriasis Thuja complex No. 40 drops are a homeopathic medicinal speciality for use in scaly, itchy skin diseases and itchy skin without recognisable causes.

APOZEMA Psoriasis Thuja complex No. 40 drops is a homeopathic combination remedy consisting of various individual homeopathic remedies whose medicinal pictures complement each other.

Indications

The indications are derived from the homeopathic drug pictures. The following indications are authorised for this medicine:

• Scaly, itchy skin diseases, also skin itching without recognisable causes.

The use of this homeopathic medicinal product in these indications is based exclusively on homeopathic experience. In severe forms of these conditions, clinically proven therapy is indicated. This medicine is used in adults, adolescents and children from 3 years of age. If you do not feel better or even worse after 7 days, consult your doctor.

Properties of the ingredients

• Thuja (western tree of life) acts on the lymphatic system, stomach and intestines as well as the skin and its appendages, i.e. hair and nails. The remedy picture shows skin and mucous membrane disorders.
• Acidum nitricum (nitric acid) is also a constitutional remedy that acts on the skin and its appendages.
• Arsenicum album (white arsenic) has a broad remedy picture, one of the directions of action is the skin and its appendages. The drug picture shows inflammatory, itchy, scaly skin, especially on the limbs and in the flexural areas of the joints.
• Berberis aquifol. (mahonia) shows a tendency to dry skin disease with scales, lichen-like rash and severe itching.
• Calcium carbonicum Hahnemanni (oyster shell lime) is a constitutional remedy with a skin action. Among other things, chronic skin and mucous membrane diseases appear in the remedy picture.
• Graphites (lead lead), a constitutional remedy for the skin, has a remedy picture of fissures at the transition from skin to mucous membrane, dry eczema with callus-like secretions, preferably in the bends of the joints, combined with pronounced itching.
• Hydrocotyle asiatica (pennywort) acts on the skin.
• Sarsaparilla (bindweed) is a remedy used in homeopathy for skin diseases.
• Sulphur (sulphur blossom) is a constitutional remedy for inflammatory processes, including those of the skin and its appendages. As a remedy, sulphur predominantly shows dry eczema with itching and a feeling of heat.

Directions for use

• Adolescents from 12 years of age and adults: At the onset of symptoms 21 drops every half hour to hour max. 8 times a day, up to 4 times a day at the onset of improvement.
• Children from 6 to 12 years: At the onset of symptoms 7 drops diluted in a little water half-hourly to hourly max. 6 times a day, at the onset of improvement up to 3 times a day.
• Children from 3 to 6 years: At the onset of symptoms, 7 drops diluted in a little water half-hourly to hourly max. 3 times a day, with the onset of improvement up to 2 times a day.
• Use in children The use in children under 3 years of age is not recommended due to a lack of data.
  
• Route of administration: Oral use, spread over the surrounding mucous membrane with the tongue and reduce the frequency as the symptoms improve.
• Duration of use: If you do not feel better or even worse after 7 days, consult your doctor.

D4 2.0 g; Smilax (Sarsaparilla) Dil. D4 2.0 g and Sulfur Dil. D4 2.0 g.
• The other ingredients are: ethanol 96% (alcohol), purified water.
• Total ethanol content approx. 43% by weight, 1 g = approx. 49 drops.
