Algofina 10% Spray is a medicine containing the active ingredient diethylamine salicylate. This belongs to the group of so-called salicylates and is a salt of salicylic acid with an analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect.

Algofina is for external use only. After being sprayed onto the skin, the active ingredient penetrates the affected tissue and acts at the site of inflammation. Pain, swelling, redness and sensitivity are alleviated and the restoration of normal function is accelerated. Only small amounts of diethylamine salicylate are absorbed into the blood.

Algofina is used in adults and adolescents (aged 12 years and over) for:

local treatment of pain and swelling following blunt injuries to muscles, joints, ligaments and tendons (such as sprains, strains, bruises),
muscle tension and lumbago.

If you do not feel better or even worse after 14 days, consult your doctor.

How to use

Algofina is intended for use on the skin in adults and adolescents (aged 12 years and over). The recommended dose is 2 - 4 sprays 2 to 3 times a day, depending on the size of the painful area to be treated.
Method of application: From a distance of about 15 cm, spray as specifically as possible onto the affected area of the body until it is covered. After application, allow the spray to dry for a few minutes before dressing or bandaging the treated area. Wash your hands after spraying Algofina, unless the affected area is on your hands.
Duration of use: The duration of use depends on the duration of the symptoms. If you do not feel better or even worse after 14 days, consult your doctor, especially if pain and swelling persist.

Ingredients

What Algofina contains: The active ingredient is diethylamine salicylate. 100 g solution contains 10 g diethylamine salicylate corresponding to 6.54 g salicylate.
One spray contains 6.8 mg salicylate.
The other ingredients are 2-propanol, levomenthol, mountain pine oil, glycerine, purified water.
