Aboca Metarecod granule sachets are an innovative medical device that can be used to treat metabolic syndrome. It restores balance to altered metabolic parameters such as cholesterol, triglycerides and glucose, as well as waist circumference measurements.

Thanks to all the ingredients in its formulation, Metarecod alters the physical properties of the intestinal contents and reduces the concentration of fats and carbohydrates. In particular, this has the following effects: 

• The absorption of these substances is slowed down (retard effect), which also reduces the amount absorbed;
• The gut flora is restored to balance, leading to a faster and more stable improvement in metabolic functions;
• Bowel transit returns to normal, allowing fats (cholesterol and triglycerides) and carbohydrates (including glucose) to be excreted more effectively. 

Furthermore, the product reduces the reabsorption of bile acids, which helps to restore the balance of blood lipid levels. Thanks to its viscosity, it forms a barrier between the intestinal contents – which are rich in fats and potential irritants – and the mucous membrane, thereby helping to protect it.

This enables the liver to process nutrients more effectively, which in turn helps to balance blood sugar, cholesterol and triglyceride levels and reduce waist circumference. Taking this product must be combined with a healthy lifestyle, i.e. a balanced diet and regular physical activity.

Metarecod is a 100% natural and biodegradable medical device. It contains no synthetic, semi-synthetic or genetically modified substances.

Indications

Metarecod sachets are an innovative medical device suitable for use in the following cases: 

• LDL cholesterol level ≥ 100 mg/dl or HDL cholesterol level < 40 mg/dl in men and < 50 mg/dl in women; 
• Triglyceride level ≥ 150 mg/dl;
• Fasting blood glucose level > 100 mg/dl (IFG) or impaired (or reduced) glucose tolerance 140–199 mg/dl (IGT); 
• Increased waist circumference, even in people of normal weight (≥ 94 cm in men and ≥ 80 cm in women). 

These abnormal parameters often occur in combination – as in the case of metabolic syndrome. This is a condition characterised by an increased waist circumference and at least two other abnormal blood test results, such as high blood pressure. The product acts on the gut, a key organ for regulating metabolic processes, and can restore balance to parameters that have got out of control, regardless of whether they occur in isolation or in combination. 

Metarecod sachets are suitable for adults and children aged 8 years and over.

Directions for use

• Stir the contents of one sachet into half a glass of water before each of the two main meals of the day. Drink the solution before a gel forms in the glass. Follow with half a glass of water.
• If you forget to take it before a meal, Metarecod can also be taken with a meal. Do not put the granules directly into your mouth; always stir them into water first. Flatulence may occur during the first few days of use, but this will subside with continued use. 
• To ensure that children under 12 years of age use the product correctly, it is recommended that they take it under adult supervision.
• Duration of treatment: Initial improvements are seen after just one month of treatment. However, it is recommended that the product be taken for at least 3 months. The treatment cycle may be repeated several times a year.
• Notes: Do not use this product if you have allergies or hypersensitivity to one or more of the raw materials from which the product’s ingredients are derived: Avena sativa, Opuntia ficus-indica, Amorphophallus konjac, Althaea officinalis, Linum usitatissimum, Tilia platyphyllos, Cichorium intybus, Stevia rebaudiana, gum arabic. There are no study data available on the use of Metarecod during pregnancy and breastfeeding. However, given the nature of the product’s composition, there are no contraindications to its use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The treatment of blood sugar and lipid metabolism disorders, obesity and metabolic syndrome during pregnancy must be carried out under medical supervision. It is recommended that the product be taken two hours apart from medicines to avoid interactions when they are taken.
