A blocked nose is particularly problematic for babies and small children, as they cannot clear their nose by blowing it themselves. Fitonasal Children's Nasal Spray is an innovative decongestant nasal spray specially formulated to relieve nasal congestion and sinus irritation caused by flu-like infections, the common cold, allergic rhinitis and sinusitis (both acute and chronic).

The use of the product in infants and children promotes breathing and improves sleep.

How does Fitonasal paediatric nasal spray work?

Fitonasal Paediatric Nasal Spray works thanks to TANNISAL, a molecular complex of tannins and rock salt that interacts with the nasal mucosa and has the following effects:

Decongestant effect with a dual, non-pharmacological mechanism

- Precipitation of bradykinin: the tannins contained in the product are able to bind this inflammatory mediator, reducing nasal congestion

- Balanced osmotic effect: This helps to draw water out of the swollen tissue without irritating and drying out the mucous membrane.

Protective effect: The nasal spray normalises the nasal mucosa thanks to the adhesion of the active ingredients and their antioxidant properties.

In addition, thanks to its continuous fine atomisation, the product has a deep cleansing effect that removes excess mucus, viruses, bacteria, allergens and irritants from the nasal cavities.

This effect is particularly useful for babies and children who are unable to blow their noses.

How to use

Use Fitonasal Children's Nasal Spray at least twice a day (morning and evening), and whenever necessary. For a decongestant and protective effect on the mucous membrane, it is recommended to use Fitonasal Children's Nasal Spray as follows:

From 6 months up to 1 year

Place the child on its side, insert the nozzle into the upper nostril and spray the product.
Place the child on the other side and repeat the procedure in the other nostril.

Over 1 year

Insert the nozzle into the nostril and press lightly on the spray head for a few seconds.
Clean your nose or, if possible, blow your nose and repeat the spraying process in the other nostril.

Clean the spray head after each use with a damp, clean cloth and dry carefully.

Fitonasal Children's Nasal Spray contains no vasoconstrictors and, thanks to its innovative, non-pharmacological mechanism of action, does not cause a habituation effect. It does not dry out the mucous membranes, does not irritate and can be used frequently, even over a longer period of time.

Advice

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or allergy to one or more ingredients. Consult a doctor if symptoms persist. Only use in the nose. Avoid contact with the eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with water.
Caution - Pressurised container: may burst if heated. Do not puncture or burn, even after use. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other sources of ignition. Do not smoke. Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures above 50° C. Keep out of the reach of children.
The expiry date stated on the packaging remains unchanged even after the first use.
Follow the instructions for use carefully and seek the advice of a doctor or pharmacist if necessary.

Ingredients

TANNISAL, standardised molecular complex consisting of: Tannin fraction (from witch hazel) and rock salt (salt extracted from salt mines, not chemically treated).
Also contains: water, vegetable glycerine, lemon juice, nahcolite (natural sodium bicarbonate).
