For acute and recurrent urinary tract infections

Sporebiotics: are the new generation of highly effective bacterial strains and help to restore balance to the urogenital microbiome. Bacillus coagulans (1.25 billion CFU*/tablet) reduces pathogens through lactic acid and antimicrobial proteins.¹ Bacillus subtilis (1.25 billion CFU*/tablet) inhibits the growth of E. coli bacteria.²
Lactoferrin ( 50 mg/tablet): acts as a natural prebiotic and has strong antimicrobial properties against harmful bacteria and fungi.³
Dandelion leaf extract (105 mg/tablet): flushes the urinary tract and has a detoxifying effect.⁴
Cranberry extract (500 mg/tablet): prevents pathogenic bacteria from adhering to the bladder.⁵

The bladder is a marvel of the human body. It is colonised by various microorganisms which, together, form a protective biofilm against pathogenic bacteria. If this natural protective shield is disrupted, harmful microorganisms can also establish themselves. Unfortunately, these new ‘roommates’ can be very persistent. It is difficult to get rid of them, and what’s more, the pathogens tend to keep coming back. The result is acute and recurrent urinary tract infections.

urolind® Infekt contains a unique 5-in-1 formula with the following ingredients:

Sporebiotics (Bacillus coagulans, Bacillus subtilis), the survival experts: they are the new generation of highly effective bacterial strains, derived from naturally fermented foods. Unlike conventional probiotics, Sporebiotics have the ability to form spores and are therefore extremely resistant to high temperatures, moisture, stomach acid and bile salts. This ensures that a large number arrive alive at their site of action. Sporebiotics produce many antimicrobial proteins, biosurfactants, vitamins and other high-quality compounds in the gut, urinary tract and genital area, and can thereby help to restore balance to the urogenital microbiome. For example, Bacillus coagulans produces large quantities of lactic acid as well as several potent antimicrobial proteins such as coagulin and lactosporin, which directly combat pathogenic bacteria. Bacillus subtilis, the most widely used Bacillus species worldwide, supports the growth of ‘good’ lactobacilli. These also make a valuable contribution to bladder health.
Cranberry, the classic: Cranberries have long been used to prevent recurrent urinary tract infections. They prevent pathogenic bacteria from adhering to the bladder.
Dandelion, the driving force: The leaves of the dandelion have been used since the Middle Ages as a diuretic for kidney and bladder complaints. This effect of the plant flushes out the urinary tract, thereby helping to eliminate existing toxins and bacteria.
Lactoferrin, the natural protective barrier against bacteria and fungi: Lactoferrin is a natural, highly antimicrobial protein and one of the main components of breast milk. In lower concentrations, it is also found in tears, saliva and the mucous membranes of the lungs and vagina. Lactoferrin has immune-boosting, immune-regulating and antioxidant properties. In this way, it ensures that harmful bacteria in the bladder cannot continue to multiply.
Vitamin B2 (riboflavin), the ‘detoxifying’ vitamin: Vitamin B2 regenerates the mucous membrane of the urinary tract, thereby reducing the risk of infections.

Directions for use

For acute urinary tract infections: Take one tablet twice daily, without chewing, with a large glass of water.
To prevent recurrent urinary tract infections: Take one tablet once a day without chewing, with a large glass of water, over an extended period.
Recommended from 12 years of age.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding: To date, there is no evidence of problems associated with taking this medicine during pregnancy and breastfeeding . However, due to insufficient data available, however, its use cannot be recommended at this time. If you still wish to take Urolind® INFEKT, please consult your doctor first.
