rhinomed® contains plant extracts from buckwheat, garden sorrel and string tree with a high standardised content of valuable bioflavonoids (e.g. rutin) as well as vitamin C and zinc. The selected combination of plant extracts and micronutrients helps to strengthen the immune system in a natural way, especially in times of increased susceptibility to infections.
rhinomed® cold capsules were developed for the targeted dietary treatment of immune deficiencies caused by nasal infections. Over 100 different "rhinoviruses", which are transmitted from person to person by droplet infection, can trigger the common cold. A strong immune system and good blood circulation in the nasal mucosa normally ensure an efficient defence and the rapid removal of pathogens. However, the mucous membranes of the nose are often not sufficiently supplied with blood, especially in the cold season and heating period, so that viruses can settle unhindered. If cold viruses manage to infect the nasal mucosa, a local inflammatory reaction occurs. The nasal mucosa swells and produces increasingly viscous secretions, which can significantly impede nasal breathing. In the case of a simple cold, the symptoms are primarily localised to the nose. However, a cold can also pave the way for inflammation of the sinuses.
Active ingredients
Bioflavonoids: rhinomed® cold capsules contain plant extracts from the seeds of buckwheat (Fagopyrum tartaricum L.), the root of garden sorrel (Rumex acetosa) and string tree blossoms with a very high content of bioflavonoids, so-called secondary plant substances. Bioflavonoids, especially rutin, are used in traditional medicine, among other things.
Zinc: Zinc is present in rhinomed® cold capsules as zinc citrate. An organic compound with particularly high bioavailability. As a trace element, zinc is an important component of the immune system and, with a sufficient supply, can reduce cold symptoms and shorten the duration of a cold.
Vitamin C: Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin. It is an important component of the body's immune system and protects the body against colds, such as the common cold."

Directions
- Take 1 capsule unchewed 1-2 times daily with food and liquid.
- Note: rhinomed® is not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Not suitable as the sole source of nutrition. Use under medical supervision. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Store in a cool, dry place away from light. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity/allergy to any of the ingredients.
