isla® med acute citrus-honey pastilles are an effective and quick remedy for throat and voice problems. The hydrogel complex with hyaluronic acid and special extract of Iceland moss forms a protective film on the mucous membrane, which moisturises and regenerates it. The pastilles are also suitable for children aged 6 and over.

When is isla® med acute citrus honey used?

• To relieve typical cold andthroat complaints such as coughing and hoarseness .
• For dry mucous membranes andvocal cord irritation

These complaints can be the result of an unproductive dry cough, such as an irritating cough, whichresults from an irritated and dry oral mucosa .

The throat lozenges with the hydrogel complex withhyaluronic acid and Icelandic moss effectively protect the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat.

Active principle

• The hydrogel complex of carbomer and xanthan gum with hyaluronic acid is incorporated into the throat lozenges withthe extra strong herbal flavour .The water-binding capacity of the polysaccharide xanthan gum and the special swelling capacity of the gelling agent carbomer form a protective film over the irritated mucous membranes. The hyaluronic acid contained has the special physical property of developing a moisturising film on the surface of the mucous membranes.
• The dry residue from the special extract ofIceland moss, the hardy lichen from the harsh climate of the far north, consists of over 80% mucilage. The extract dissolves like a balm when sucked and spreads soothingly in the mouth, throat and pharynx.
• This stimulates the flow of saliva, irritatedmucous membranes can regenerate and the typical cold and throat complaints such as coughing and hoarseness as well as dry mucous membranes and the resulting sore throat and difficulty swallowing are alleviated.

How to use

• Adults and children from6 years of age suckup to 6 lozenges daily as required.The pastilles are sucked slowly until completely dissolved.
• Note: Please only take isla® med acute citrus honey after consulting your doctor if you are known to suffer from an intolerance to certain sugars.

Ingredients

• The throat lozenges contain aqueous extract of Iceland moss (0.4 - 0.8 : 1), carbomer, xanthan gum, sodium hyaluronate.
• Other ingredients: Arabic gum, sorbitol, maltitol, anhydrous citric acid, acesulfame K, lemon oil, orange oil, flavouring, colouring plant extract (apple / safflower / lemon), medium-chain triglycerides, purified water.
• 1 lozenge contains the sugar substitutes sorbitol (0.11 g) and maltitol (0.94 g) = 0.09 BE.
