isla® junior pastilles are soothing throat lozenges for children aged 4 and over that moisturise and soothe the throat. They contain Iceland moss, which covers the irritated mucous membrane like a protective film and thus protects against further irritation. isla® junior pastilles are sugar-free and have a pleasant, fruity flavour.

When is isla® junior used?

• To relieve typical cold and throat complaints such as coughing and hoarseness.
• For dry and irritated mucous membranes in the throat and pharynx, which can result in difficulty swallowing and a sore throat.
• For restricted nasal breathing.

isla® junior strawberry-flavoured throat lozenges are suitable for use in children aged 4 years and over. They protect the dry and irritated mucous membranes of the mouth and throat and relieve typical cold and sore throat symptoms.

Active principle

The special herbal extract of Iceland moss contained in the tablets consists of over 80% mucilage. It dissolves like a balm when sucked, spreads soothingly in the mouth, throat and pharynx and forms a protective film that protects the mucous membranes from irritation and attacks.

The flow of saliva is also stimulated. The irritated mucous membranes can regenerate. Typical cold and throat complaints such as coughing and hoarseness as well as dry throat and pharyngeal mucous membranes, which can result in difficulty swallowing and a sore throat, are alleviated.

How to use

• Children aged 4 years and over can suck up to 6 lozenges a day as required. Care should be taken to ensure that children have already acquired the ability to suck in a controlled manner.
• Note: Please only use isla® junior after consulting a doctor if you or your child is known to suffer from an intolerance to certain sugars.
• Note for diabetics: 1 lozenge contains 0.997 g sugar substitutes = 0.083 BE.

Ingredients

• 1 lozenge contains 80 mg aqueous extract of Iceland moss (0.4 - 0.8 : 1).
• Further ingredients: Arabic gum, sorbitol, maltitol, steviol glycosides, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), calcium pantothenate, zinc gluconate, natural flavouring, colouring plant extract (carrot / blackcurrant), medium-chain triglycerides, purified water.
