On the inside, the bladder is covered by an epithelial tissue (the urothelium), which has the important task of making the bladder wall impermeable and deformable by preventing the reabsorption of toxic substances contained in the urine. An essential role in maintaining adequate impermeability is played by a thick layer of mucopolysaccharides that evenly covers the urothelium. This layer consists mainly of glycosaminoglycans (GAG), polisaccharides with a structure that prevents the diffusion of toxic molecules from the urine into the underlying epithelium. The most important molecules that make up GAGs are: Hyaluronic acid, chondroitin sulphate, dermatan sulphate and keratan sulphate. The alteration and degradation of the GAG layer poses a major risk of infection and promotes direct contact between toxic metabolic products in the urine and the urothelial cells. Damage can cause these cells to lose their normal trophism and barrier function, promoting an inflammatory and irritant reaction associated with various conditions such as haemorrhagic cystitis, acute cystitis, bacterial and non-bacterial cystitis, bladder pain syndrome and dysplasia. Radiotherapy for the treatment of bladder or pelvic cancer is another possible cause of damage leading to radiation-induced cystitis.

Ialuril® Soft Gels

Ialuril® Soft Gels contain hyaluronic acid andchondroitin sulphate, two important building blocks of the GAG layer of the bladder. Quercetin is a natural substance from the flavonoid group that is found in many plant species such as tea, onions and lovage. Turmeric is extracted from the rhizome of turmeric longa.

How to use

It is recommended totake 2 capsules daily with sufficient liquid for at least 30 days, as directed by a doctor.
Advice: It is not recommended to take the product in case of changes in liver function, gallstones or gallbladder stones. If you are taking medication, you should seek the advice of your doctor.

Ingredients: Medium-chain triglycerides, edible gelatine, chondroitin sulphate, quercetin, curcuma, phospholipid complex (extract from Curcuma longa rhizome, phospolipids from soya), stabiliser: glycerol, emulsifier: lecithins (soya), phosphatidylcholine from soya, hyaluronic acid, colouring: iron oxide.
Composition per daily dose (2 capsules): Curcuma extract 40 mg, quercetin 200 mg, chondroitin sulphate 200 mg, hyaluronic acid 100 mg.
