anatis ankaflavin+monascin from red rice and olive leaf capsules are a hand-encapsulated food supplement with a patented red rice extract (Ankascin® 568) of monascin and ankaflavin and the valuable ingredients of olive leaf extract.

Red rice without monacolin K (ANKASCIN® 568) is a fermented product derived from Monascus purpureus, a specific strain of red yeast rice that has been researched at the National Taiwan University for over 30 years.

Do not confuse!

It should not be confused with red rice with monacolin K, which has rightly been criticised for its similarity to the cholesterol-lowering drug lovastatin. This product should not be confused with it, even if the starting material is also red rice.

How is red rice made without monacolin K?

Cooked white rice is treated in a closed fermentation system with a specific strain of Monascus purpureus red mould and produces the metabolites monascin and ankaflavin. The beneficial effect of ANKASCIN® 568 is attributed to the high concentrations of these two active ingredients.

In a mixture with olive leaf extracts

The high antioxidant power of the olive leaf extracts oleuropein and hydroxytyrosol is the ideal complement to red rice.

• Ingredients: Monascin and ankaflavin from red rice (Ankascin® 568), olive leaf extract oleuropein, olive leaf extract hydroxytyrosol, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (capsule shell).
• Composition per daily dose (2 capsules): Monascin and ankaflavin from red rice (Ankascin® 568) 440 mg, olive leaf extract 20 % 300 mg of which oleuropein 60 mg, olive leaf extract 10 % 200 mg of which hydroxytyrosol 40 mg.
