Product information "alfavet Forbid powder for dogs and cats"
alfavet Forbid powder is a feed supplement for dogs and cats to prevent faecal gnawing.
Properties
- Simple solution to an unappetising problem
- Makes faeces unpleasant for dogs
Feeding Forbid to dogs changes the odour and taste of their faeces so that they become extremely unpleasant for the dog. This can prevent dogs from eating faeces and can also help them to get out of the habit in the long term.
Dosage form
powder
Directions for use
Feeding recommendation: To be administered with food. Depending on the number of meals, the daily amount to be administered can be divided into one or more doses.
- Small dogs (under 10 kg): 0.5 - 1 scoop daily (1 scoop corresponds to approx. 4 g).
- Medium-sized dogs (> 10 - 25 kg): 1 - 1.5 scoops daily.
- Large dogs (over 25 kg): 2.5 scoops daily.
- Cats: 0.5 scoops daily.
The product is best administered with wet food. If dry food is used, it should be slightly moistened to improve adhesion of the powder to the food.
If other dogs or cats are in the same environment as the affected dog (garden, walking together, etc.), these animals should also be given Forbid.
Recommended feeding period: At least 15 days. If necessary, the feeding period can be extended to 2 - 3 months after consultation with the vet or the administration can be repeated several times at intervals.
