Dosage form
Directions for use
- Dosage: 1 g powder (1 stick) for animals up to 5 kg bw. Animals over 25 kg bw receive 1 pack with 5 g powder (5 sticks). For rearing: 1 g powder (1 stick) at birth and on days 3, 5, 7 and 14.
- Duration of use: According to veterinary prescription 1-2 x every 3 days.
- Method of application: Mix the powder with warm water and administer using a suitable syringe. Alternatively, the powder can also be administered via the feed.
- Instructions for correct use: The preparation mixed with liquid should be freshly prepared before administration.
- Contraindications: Do not use in cases of acute bloody diarrhoea with high fever. Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the other ingredients.
- Side effects: None known. If you notice any side effects in your pet, especially those not listed in the package leaflet, please inform your vet or pharmacist.
- Special warnings and precautions for use: BIFIDO ZOON does not replace the electrolyte replacement and fluid intake required in cases of diarrhoea.
- Interactions: The effectiveness of BIFIDO ZOON may be reduced if antibiotics are administered at the same time.
- Special storage instructions: Keep medicine out of the reach of children. Protect from moisture. Do not store above 25°C.
- Shelf life: Shelf life in intact container: 1 year If stored at 4°-8°C, shelf life is 18 months. Shelf life after opening: 24 hours Do not use the medicinal product after the expiry date indicated on the container.
- Other information: Do not use in food-producing animals.

- Composition: Lactose, inulin.
- Analytical constituents: Crude protein 15.5 %, crude fibre 2.5 %, crude fat 4.2 %, crude ash 9.3 %.
- Additives per kg: Intestinal flora stabilisers: 109 CFU Lactobacillus paracasei, 109 CFU Lactobacillus fermentum, 109 CFU Lactobacillus acidophilus, 109 CFU Lactobacillus plantarum, 109 CFU Enterococcus faecium, 109 CFU Bifidobacterium bifidum, 109 CFU Pediococcus acidilactici.
