Krill oil capsules are a multi-talent for your health. The Superba™ krill oil in our capsules contains vital omega-3 fatty acids: 110 mg per capsule. Science recommends a daily intake. In contrast to saturated fats or trans fats, they are "good fats". The omega-3 fatty acids in krill oil can support healthy heart function.
The effect of omega-3 fatty acids on health has been confirmed by the EFSA after rigorous testing:
EPA and DHA: Enable normal heart function**.
Dehydroascorbic acid: Contributes to normal brain function***.
DHA: Plays a role in healthy vision ***.
* European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).
** Health benefits are achieved with a daily intake of 250 mg EPA and DHA.
*** The health benefits are achieved with a daily intake of 250 mg DHA. Krill oil capsules: 3-fold effect
Our krill oil capsules contain three interacting substances: The essential omega-3 fatty acids, which have a positive effect on health and enable the heart, brain and vision to function normally. The phospholipids are combined with the omega-3 fatty acids in krill oil. As a result, the omega-3 fatty acids are better recognised by the body. The third important component in krill oil is the natural carotenoid astaxanthin, which gives it its deep red colour. The anti-oxidative properties of astaxanthin protect the krill oil from oxygen and thus ensure a shelf life without artificial additives.
Krill oil from ZeinPharma with: 110mg omega 3 fatty acids, 200 mg phospholipids and 40µg astaxanthin for the conscious support of your health and for a healthy diet.
Krill oil capsules - without mercury and dioxin
A small natural wonder can be found in the open and unspoilt ocean of the Antarctic. The Antarctic krill Euphasia Superba, a shrimp-like crustacean, lives here in huge shoals. Its only food source is plankton, from which it produces and stores omega-3 fatty acids.
Fish are relatively far down the food chain, so they accumulate pollutants. Such pollutants, such as mercury or dioxin, can pose a health risk to humans. Krill, on the other hand, is at the top of the food chain, so there is no risk of contaminants accumulating. Our ongoing quality controls also ensure that only the highest quality krill oil is processed free of residues.
