• Zinc is a vital trace element that is required in the body for a variety of functions. Symptoms of a zinc deficiency can manifest themselves in many different ways, e.g. changes to the skin, hair, nails and sensory organs, poor healing of wounds or increased susceptibility to illness due to a weakened immune system. The reason for an undersupply of zinc can be insufficient zinc intake with food (e.g. reduction diets, fast food, anorexia, vegetarian diets). In practice, other factors often play an important role, in particular increased zinc losses (e.g. diabetes, liver disease, heavy sweating, injuries, taking laxatives), impaired absorption into the blood (e.g. intestinal diseases) or an increased requirement (e.g. growth, wound healing, pregnancy, breastfeeding).

• Route of administration: Take the film-coated tablets unchewed with sufficient liquid well before meals (approx. 1 hour), as the absorption of zinc into the bloodstream may be impaired by food.
• Duration of use: The duration of use depends on the need and success of the treatment.

• The active ingredient is: Zinc D-gluconate
• 1 film-coated tablet contains: Zinc D-gluconate 70 mg, corresponding to 10 mg zinc.
• The other ingredients are: microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate (Ph.Eur.), hypromellose, ethylcellulose, triethyl citrate.
