Voltadol® 24 hour pain patch 140 mg active ingredient-containing patch, 2 ST

Voltadol® 24 Hour Pain Relief Patch is a non-prescription medicine containing the active ingredient diclofenac in the form of 140 mg diclofenac sodium per patch containing the active ingredient. Voltadol® 24 Hour Pain Relief Patch is an analgesic medicine.

It belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Voltadol 24 Hour Pain Patch is used for the local, symptomatic short-term treatment (max. 7 days) of pain in acute strains, sprains or bruises of the arms and legs as a result of blunt injuries in adolescents aged 16 and over and adults.

Voltadol 24-hour pain plaster is a white, 10 cm x 14 cm, self-adhesive plaster containing the active ingredient and made of non-woven fabric on one side and paper on the other. After removing the protective film, the adhesive film is transparent.

Application

The recommended dose is one plaster containing the active ingredient once a day. Apply one plaster containing the active ingredient to the painful area. The maximum daily dose is one plaster containing the active ingredient, even if more than one injured area needs to be treated. Only treat one painful area at a time.

Duration of use: Do not use Voltadol 24 hour pain plasters for more than 7 days. If you need this medicine for more than 7 days to treat pain or if your symptoms worsen, consult your doctor.

Route of administration: For application to the skin.

Instructions for use:

1. Cut open the sachet along the dotted line and remove the plaster containing the active ingredient.

Apply the plaster:

1. Remove one of the two protective films.
2. Apply the plaster to the area to be treated and remove the remaining protective film.
3. Press the plaster lightly with the palm of your hand until it adheres completely to the skin.

Remove the plaster:

1. Moisten the plaster with water, detach one corner of the plaster and carefully pull it off the skin.
2. To remove plaster residue, wash the affected area with water by gently rubbing it with circular movements of the fingers.

Notes: If necessary, the plaster containing the active ingredient can be held in place with a mesh bandage. Only apply the plaster containing the active ingredient to intact, healthy skin. Do not apply the plaster containing the active ingredient together with an air-impermeable (occlusive) bandage. Do not wear the plaster when bathing or showering. Do not share the plaster containing the active ingredient.
