Acute relief - relief in the event of sudden onset of hay fever symptoms in the nose

Vividrin® Azelastine nasal spray for hay fever provides rapid relief even in the case of severe allergic nasal symptoms (it ^can take effect after 15 minutes1) and reliably eliminates the agonising symptoms. Used just twice a day, it ensures long-lasting effectiveness for up to 24 ^hours2 - not only for pollen allergies but also for house dust, animal hair and mould allergies.

The nasal spray is free from preservatives and is very well tolerated. The tried-and-tested active ingredient azelastine also offers special protection thanks to its triple mechanism of ^action3, also helps to relieve nasal congestion (without a habituation effect) and does not dry out the nasal mucosa.

Directions for use

Adults and children from 6 years of age

The recommended dose is 1 spray (0.14 ml) per nostril twice daily (equivalent to 0.56 mg azelastine hydrochloride/day).

How should Vividrin® Azelastine 1 mg/ml Nasal Spray be used?

Blow your nose.
Remove the plastic locking ringfrom the protective cap before first use.
Pull off the protective cap.
Pump several times (3 to 4 times) before the first application until an even spray is emitted.
Hold your head in an upright position and spray one puff into each nostril. Do not tilt your head back.
Wipe off the pump device and replace the protective cap.

If Azelastine has not been used for more than 6 days, the dosing pump mustbe reactivated by pressing it down several times and releasing it again until a sufficiently fine spray mist emerges.

Duration of use:

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if your symptoms worsen or if you do not notice any significant improvement after using Vividrin® Azelastine 1 mg/ml Nasal Spray for more than 4 weeks.

Ingredients

The active substance is: azelastine hydrochloride 1 mg/ml.

The other ingredients are: Hypromellose 2910, sodium edetate (Ph.Eur.), citric acid, sodium monohydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate (Ph.Eur.), sodium chloride, purified water.
