Even in cases of very severe allergic nasal symptoms, Vividrin® Azelastine Nasal Spray for hay fever provides rapid relief (effects^{may be felt} after 15 minutes¹) and reliably eliminates the distressing symptoms. Used just twice a day, it provides long-lasting relief for up to 24^hours² – not only for pollen allergies but also for allergies to house dust, animal dander and mould.

The nasal spray is free from preservatives and very well tolerated. The proven active ingredient, azelastine, also offers special protection thanks to its triple^{mechanism of action³}, helps to relieve a blocked nose (without causing a tolerance effect) and does not dry out the nasal mucosa.

Indications

Adults and children aged 6 years and over

The recommended dose is 1 spray (0.14 ml) in each nostril twice daily (equivalent to 0.56 mg azelastine hydrochloride per day).

How should Vividrin® Azelastine 1 mg/ml nasal spray be used?

Blow your nose.
Before using for the first time, remove the plasticsafety ring from the protective cap.
Remove the protective cap.
Pump the spray several times (3 to 4 times) before first use until a uniform spray is released.
Keep your head upright and spray once into each nostril. Do not tilt your head back.
Wipe the pump mechanism clean and replace the protective cap.

If Azelastin has not been used for more than 6 days, the dosing pump mustbe reactivated by pressing it down and releasing it several times until asufficient fine spray is released.

Duration of use:

Speak to your doctor or pharmacist if your symptoms worsen or if you donot noticeany significant improvement after using Vividrin® Azelastine 1 mg/ml nasal spray for more than 4 weeks .

Ingredients

The active ingredient is: azelastine hydrochloride 1 mg/ml.

The other ingredients are: hypromellose 2910, sodium edetate (Ph.Eur.), citric acid, sodium monohydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate (Ph.Eur.), sodium chloride, purified water.
