Vitaworld Astaxanthin 8 mg capsules are a dietary supplement with 100 % natural astaxanthin from the algae Haematococcus pluvialis.

Astaxanthin is often found in algae - in the form of plankton, but also in some fungi and bacteria. It belongs to the group of carotenoids that are responsible for the colour of many fruits and vegetables, from the bright red of tomatoes to the vibrant orange of carrots.

But the real speciality of astaxanthin is that it is a much stronger radical scavenger than vitamin C, vitamin E or other known antioxidants. Natural astaxanthin is extracted from the blood rain algae, Haematococcus pluvialis. It is a green algae from the Chlorophyceae class with a maximum size of 0.05 mm.

How to use

Take 1 capsule daily with sufficient water. Preferably with a main meal.

Ingredients: 41 % Haematococcus pluvialis (5% astaxanthin), maltodextrin, coating agent: hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (vegetable capsule shell).
