Vit-A-Vision® eye ointment, 2 ST

Vit-A-Vision® is a preservative-free eye ointment that contains vitamin A, vitamin E, dexpanthenol, petrolatum, viscous paraffin, lanolin, cetylstearyl alcohol and purified water.

Vit-A-Vision® is used for long-lasting improvement of the tear film and intensive protection of the eye surface. Its cell-protective properties enable normal re-epithelialisation when this is impaired by dryness.

Thanks to its very soft and smooth consistency, Vit-A-Vision® spreads very well on the surface of the eye. The ointment is characterised by particularly good tolerability, especially due to the vitamin A it contains, a natural component of the tear film. Vit-A-Vision® alleviates symptoms such as burning, dryness or tiredness of the eyes. The eyelids glide smoothly over the cornea and conjunctiva.

Dexpanthenol, which is converted into pantothenic acid in the body, belongs to the B vitamins. Dexpanthenol increases the water-binding capacity, it is well absorbed by the skin and has moisturising properties.

Vit-A-Vision® provides long-lasting relief from the symptoms of dryness, irritation and mild irritation, especially

• environmental stress, e.g. from air conditioning, wind or air pollution, for example from cigarette smoke or
• fatigue and visual stress due to intensive viewing, e.g. at computer screens, microscopes or long car journeys or
• mechanical strain, e.g. from wearing hard or soft contact lenses or diagnostic eye surgery.

How to use

Vit-A-Vision® is usually applied 3 times a day for long-lasting improvement of the tear film and intensive protection of the ocular surface. Application in the evening before going to bed is particularly recommended so that the ointment can develop an intensive, long-lasting effect on the irritated eye.

Unscrew the protective cap, tilt your head slightly back and pull the lower eyelid slightly away from the eye. Apply an approx. 0.5 cm long strand of ointment into the conjunctival sac by pressing lightly on the tube. Close your eyes slowly. Close the tube carefully after use.

The ointment should be used continuously for more than 30 days.
