Vagisan® Biotin-Lacto Capsules, 30 ST

Vagisan® Biotin-Lacto Capsules are a dietary supplement and support the health of the mucous membranes, including the vaginal mucosa, with biotin. With lactic acid bacteria to support the existing vaginal flora.

Vagisan Biotin-Lacto is a food supplement in capsule form. It contains the essential vitamin biotin and lactic acid bacteria (at least 1 billion freeze-dried live lactic acid bacteria per capsule); these are Lactobacillus reuteri, RC-14® and Lactobacillus rhamnosus, GR-1®* .

Biotin

• Biotin is an essential (vital) vitamin that is important for the metabolism of all body cells, including in connection with cell division. Tissues such as skin and mucous membranes divide particularly quickly and then require biotin for the regulated process of cell division as part of their regeneration.
• Biotin is usually ingested daily in sufficient quantities through food. However, an increased need for biotin can arise, for example, in smokers, in connection with negative stress, the intake of medication - such as antibiotics - or during pregnancy. In these situations, taking biotin helps to keep the mucous membranes healthy. This also includes the vaginal mucosa.

Lactic acid bacteria

• Lactic acid bacteria are bacteria that are found in large numbers on and in the human body. They are mainly located on the mucous membranes, e.g. in the intestines and vagina. Various influences, including the use of antibiotics, can greatly reduce the number of these lactic acid bacteria.

How to use

• Adult women take 1 capsule daily (recommended daily intake) with a glass of water.
• It can be used by adult women of all ages and also during pregnancy.

Ingredients

• Ingredients: Standardised lactic acid bacteria culture (Lactobacillus reuteri (RC-14®), Lactobacillus rhamnosus (GR-1®), maltodextrin); capsule shell: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose; bulking agents: microcrystalline cellulose; anti-caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids; colour: titanium dioxide; vitamin: biotin.
